WHO AM I?
Everyone starts this section off by proclaiming they are a storyteller fascinated by the beauty of the human language. How the creative calls to them in the night like a forgotten dream of nostalgia buried beneath layers of what-ifs and why-nots.
Let’s just skip past that. I'll just tell a story instead.
I was born, like many others are, in a small town. The next couple years after that are a blur, really, but they didn't pass by without some important lessons learned along the way.
- Don’t stretch the day after you get stitches.
- The line for the porta potty is never too long.
- Always shoot your shot.
I attended Villanova University where I hold a degree in Communication, a specialization in Public Relations, and a minor in Environmental Studies. I enrolled as an Environmental Science major, but quickly switched over to the creative writing world sophomore year after seeing Physics on my course schedule. I currently am enrolled at The New School pursuing a certificate in Screenwriting. Philly is the greatest city in the world. I’m sorry, New York, but the rent is too damn high.
I’ve spent the first couple years of my career writing mainly for social media. That’s not enough for me, I’ve come to realize, and am looking to level up. I’ve found a passion in screenwriting, and my ultimate goal is to create a film that gets bashed by highschoolers on Twitter.
If this does not happen, I will consider my entire life a failure.
